With the cerascreen® Vitamin D Value Pack you can test the vitamin D status of all your family. Or, as an individual, you can regularly monitor your vitamin status (e.g. quarterly).
The risk for vitamin D deficiency is particularly high in Central and Northern Europe and involves various deficiency symptoms.
The Value Pack contains 4 Vitamin D Tests.
You save 6% compared to the price of a single test.
Vitamin D as the so-called “feel-good” vitamin supports more than 30 bodily functions. As vitamin D is primarily synthesized through the skin’s exposure to sunlight. However, the majority of people are not adequately supplied with vitamin D! This is exacerbated by the fact that many people’s eating habits do not promote the absorption and storage of vitamin D.
As a consequence, vitamin D concentration in many individuals is often below 31 nanograms per millilitre (ng/ml) owing to their dietary habits and a lack of exposure to sunlight and hence lies below the minimum concentration recommended by therapists.
Orthomolecular physicians, in contrast, recommend a level of 40-60 ng/ml as a target value for an optimal and preventative intake.
The personal vitamin D level should be tested several times a year.
You can now quickly and easily determine whether and to what extent you are lacking vitamin D. Especially in winter, this is the case for many people in Central and Northern Europe.
After placing your order, we send you a vitamin D Value kit containing 4 individual tests. By means of the test kit you can easily collect your finger prick test sample. Then you send the sample free of charge back to our laboratory. They will then analyse it and create a comprehensive result report for you.
Based on your test results, you receive a comprehensive result report in your personal online-area which provides you with individual personal advice on how to reach and maintain an optimal vitamin D level.
Each of the 4 vitamin D test kits consist of:
- a complete blood collection set
- several pages of illustrated instructions, explaining step by step how a blood sample is taken and how the test is performed
- a return bag, which you can use to send your blood sample free of charge by post to our laboratory
