The cerascreen Food Reaction Test is a food intolerance and food allergy test, which can be used to determine many causes of intolerances and allergies. The test is easy to handle, allowing you to perform it conveniently from home. A comprehensive IgE and IgG4 screening of your blood is performed for the test in our human diagnostics laboratory. Both IgE and IgG4 are so-called immunoglobulins. They repel substances in our body, which are recognised as harmful by our immune system.

Attention: The food reaction test does NOT include testing for lactose, fructose or sorbitol intolerance. Such allergies and intolerances can only be diagnosed through a breathing gas test such as a Lactose Intolerance Test which is also available.

An intolerance or allergy can also result in overreactions to “harmless” substances. We then feel these overreactions in the form of stomach ache and other allergic reactions. We will provide your personal test results our secure my cerascreen® customer area.

Besides the actual test results, you will receive a detailed explanation of your test results developed by biologists and nutritionists. Here we explain how the test results are to be interpreted, while offering suggestions regarding how you can deal with your food intolerances and food allergies.

A few drops of blood from your finger tip are sufficient for the analysis. You can easily take the sample yourself by following the illustrated instructions.

Please note that a relevant result is only guaranteed if you eat a varied diet prior (approx. 2 weeks) to taking the sample. Intolerances and allergies can only be detected if you have already eaten the foods in question. Please don't consume foods which are known to cause a strong allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock possible!). Please don't take antihistamines.
